Well just my luck. I was removing the stickers on my bike, was using a heat gun. While I was removing the sticker by the chrome piece in the tank, it heated up, deformed when it cooled. It know has wrinkles in it. Not sure if I want to replace it or remove it and go with the chrome ring. The ring is alot cheaper. They want close to $40 buck for the stock replacement plus the cost for the 4 seals. What do you guys think?

Yep. They call the double stick tape seals on the web site. Total cost would be around $65 with shipping.

Yeah dude, just ask someone for theirs in the classified section. I'm sure someone would probly just give it to you. I'm gonna get rid of mine soon when I get a custom paint job done on the tank. It may be a while, but you're welcome to it.

On eBay there is a vendor TRUX MART that occasionally has the trim rings. $4.20 shipped . . . can't beat the price.
