I've just installed the Kuryakyn run-brean-turn (ky-4710) purchased on Amazon for $64, shipping included. The 4710 is for all metric cruisers which saved me about $40 compaired to the (ky-4612) which is suposed to be the plug and play. I personaly don't feel there is any way the plug and play could be much easier, but to each their own, I like to save some bones. Here's how I completed it.
1- removed the seat, tool holder, rear fender and disconnect the negative on the battery.
2- clear about a 4 inch section exposing the wires running to the tail end of the light, I based this on how much I'd need to hide the kit under the seat.
Figure out which wires goes to what just by looking at light connections
3- cut and cleared off all wires except the Black which is the ground
4- Attatched the 3 mail adaptors (provided in the kit) to the wires coming from the front of the bike
5- Attatched the 3 female adaptors (provided in the kit) to the wires running to the tail end
6- this is the "hardest" part, jam the spliced blue (running light) wires into the grove of the pruple t-bar adaptor that's provided then clip closed to hold them.
7- connect the male to the input of the converter, the female to the output, and the purple tbar to the power.
8- connect the grounding wire, I used the bolts on the seat lock bar
9- reattatched battery and test
Wiring diagram
Blue - running light
Brown - left turn
Green - right turn
Yellow - Break
Black ground
