I'm looking for a set of hard-mount saddlebags (necessary evil for my commute) and came across these.

Has anyone purchased from Viking before? I can't find much of anything about them except on their own site. The price is certainly right, just concerned about the quality and/or looks. Any thoughts?
I did a LOT of research and soul searching when I was looking for bags - found the viking ones and then did a lot of research on them. Most everything I found was negative. I then tried calling their number several times over a period of several days - never got anyone to call me back and most of the time got a message saying there mailbox was full.

THen I found hardstreet and never looked back.....

I bought the sixer bags with the stl brackets for permanent mounting. Haven't put them on the bike yet, still need to paint. FYI, I bought mine direct from hardstreet, but they matched a price I found on amazon that was about $60 less.

The Stryker isn't an option - which bike do you choose in the drop down menu when ordering either the edge or the stl brackets. Looking forward to comparing the pictures.
I had to call the mfg and the brackets they said would work are the ones listed for the star raider. Then you have the choice of two. One if u don't have a backrest n 1 if u do. That being said I ordered the one for a backrest since it comes with longer bolts but they were still to short. Had to order some longer ones on line. If you go that route I can look up the info n send to u.

Good luck!

make sure you get the right length bolts and spacers combonation for the brand back bar/ saddle bag brackets you get as they can be to long and pertrude into the wheel well to far or to short an not catch thread.

I'll have plenty of pics, and will be careful on the bolts.

Had to make my own mounts to get the look and fit I wanted, posted pictures in Mods Gallery. Closest mounting to the bike and just clears the belt guard, lines up with seat, fits -just clears the turn signals, flows with the slant of the exhaust. Just now have to get them painted to match the bike.

Very nice - I have the same bags and are very happy with them - nice work on the mounting as well. Can you share what you did? I used the edge brackets and would like them to be a little closer to the bike. Thanks
