60° outside and road crews are dropping salt brine? We ain't supposed to get any nasty weather for a few days. Thanks to the city of Clarksville my clean and waxed bike is now salt covered! Just a bit pissed off now. I think one of those city a$$holes should come clean my bike!!

Since mine is a daily driver, I gave up on it being a beauty queen. Not a day goes by when there isn't mud or bird turd on it :D although I'd be annoyed if I just washed it only to get it caked in dirt the same day. You should go do donuts on the front lawn of your city hall. It's already dirty anyway!

That sucks. Get that salt off as quick as possible or you'll suddenly find rust and corrosion in every nook and cranny! When i got My Vstar 11oo it was February and I took a quick short ride on a warmish (42) day on dry roads. A few days later there was rust popping up everywhere just from the salt left on the road.

Lot's of salt on the road here in Michigan too. For the life of me I can't figure out why they still use that stuff. All it does is ruin the roads and rust the cars. So many better options.
