glad to see some local replies.. I know scheduling also gets tight around the holidays, maybe we could coordinate a day with a lil advance notice so we can plan around it?

If I was In Diego I would so be there. Lived most of my life there. We will be riding down there this summer. Not sure exactly when yet. Planed on after the Raider/Stryker rally in Carson City in June to head to Lake Havasu then Diego but but plans have changed. We are going north after the rally into Oregon and Washington. Then in July we are attending the International Star Tourer Association Rally in Reno Na. the weekend of 17th-20th and maybe the ride south with some of the chapters going that way and eventually ending up in Diego. In any case we will be in Diego some time this summer on the bikes for a week because I have family there.
Wondering how many other Star bike owners from this forum will be at either bike rally. If you bought a new Star bike of any kind Star Motorcycle Corp will pay for 1 rear membership in the Star Tourer Association. www.stardays.org

In case anyone is looking for a ride this weekend, the San Diego chapter of Star Touring is riding on Saturday (Feb 11).

We are meeting at North County Yamaha at 9am, planning to hit San Juan Capistrano, Lake Elsinore, ride along Lake Matthews and Lake Perris, into Hemet. Then back to NCY by 4pm.

Should be a great day.
