Riding out to Savannah, IL on Saturday with the hubby and BillyD.

Savannah is right along the Mississippi River across the river from Iowa. One of the largest biker bars in IL in there (Poppy's).

Nice ride from Savannah to Galena, claims to be the closest ride in IL to the Tail of the Dragon.

Hubby and I will probably stay out that way for the night, but BillyD will most likely head back.

Anyone else interested.

I'm riding out to lacrosse then down the river to Galena....then was gonna head back east.

But I could probly head down to savannah and meet u at poppys for a beer and a bite before I head back. Never been there but I'm sure its easy enough to find.

Yea I thought about shouting out to you but that's a long day unless you stay over and then you have the dog thing.
That said, Patrice is staying over so you and Amanda would have company...
Its 3 hours for me each way riding plus stops. I'm heading out at 6AM which I'm sure will be painful but I want to have riding around time there.

Same 4+ hour distance for me to Moonshiners and why I passed. Sure its a "biker" destination but there have to be other hamburger joints closer
