Got the Low and Mean fender in yesterday !!! Got it mounted to make sure it fit and wire the brake light. So I decided to ride it to work today !

I installed the rear fender, brake light, then the side mount license plate with built in led light.

I also installed a oracle hid in the headlight. Here are some pics I took with my phone at work this morning. I'll post more pics tomorrow and soon it will be painted and pretty.

One pint of paint from yamaha is $260!!!! because it is a 3 step paint. So the job will cost me around $400 to paint the rear fender including supplies. OR i talked to my painter that does all my car stuff and i have enough Go ManGo (orange copper) to do the whole bike. So if he can do the whole bike repainted in orange for around $400 then its basically the same price to either go orange or keep it blue. opinions ?? here is a pic of the color the bike would be painted.

ooooooh! I like the Go ManGo. If you can get the whole bike done for even close to the $400 then go for it. That would look awesome and you'd be unique.

I'm loving the brake light!!! Did the fender come with it or is it extra?

Its separate. From Low and Mean, You can get it in differant styles. i got the brake and turn signals, with red turn signals. the running light is the whole strip, then the brake is the middle 11 in and the 3 in on each side is the turn. They just get brighter when applied. They come with the dual intensity circuits. They offer them in clear or smoked.

The orange cooper (oc) looks awesome, but since you have the bike apart, I would have the rims and exhaust painted black. I am not to sure how the the oc with the chrome and silver rims will look.

Could your freind paint the rims oc?
Are you gonna get the intake cover painted oc?

Anyway, I think that once you are done the bike is gonna look sick!!!! I will def be watching this thread to see the final product. Good luck man!!

I originally planned on having the rims painted blue. but i will most likely get them done in go mango to match the car i think i will keep all the chrome for now. it would be a shame to paint them all black, because i could have bought a black bike for cheaper with all that done. it would cost more for the bike plus more to convert the covers to black. lol

That is how it came. Its bare plastic. maybe fiberglass. but you would have to contact them to get a exact price. but they charge $350 for the fender, and $150 for the brake light.

I've been trying to get that fender and the reaper for 2 weeks now. Low and Mean won't return my e-mails!!! Did you have any troubles Schimbo? So frustrating. Looks awesome tho. Defintely go with the ManGo to make it a one off. Consider a solo seat too.

Did you get the smoked tube or clear on the LED strip?

here are the pics i took today. i got the turn signals mounted on the swingarm and the brake light has integrated turns. The swingarm light light up with the brake then get Brighter when i put on the turn signals. The are not running lights. so when i ride its only the center bar then when the brake or turns are aplied the sides come on.
