[VERTAS]

I am looking at getting a new helmet and this model caught my eye. I started out looking at cool graphic helmets but I would rather buy a quality flat black on and have it custom sprayed. Does anyone have this model or have any hands on experience with it?

I have this exact model

I don't like about it that it's size is very big compared to other models, and I wear medium and I am 6 feet and around 225 lbs,
It is supposed to provide more safety to the head but personally I stopped wearing it cause of how big it look on me
Also the two pieces that cover the ears (don't know their name) is not comfortable and it itches after around wearing it for 15 minutes
The wind screen is somehow short on my face that I need to move me head forward to stop a good amount of air from hitting my eyes, and and it scratches very easily, and I have the transparent and smoke ones

My suggestion is to try it before buying,

Since I am from Egypt I am forced to buy online from the USA without trying most of the items, so if I had the chance I would have not bought it for sure

Ya, mushroom head is the best expression to describe how big does it look on my not small body

Thanks for all the input guys. I have not tried this model on in person yet but I am a stocky guy so if it looks big on someone that 6'1, it will probably make me look like humpty dumpty. I was also looking at a carbon fiber half shell helmet because it supposed to be a lot slimmer but just as strong.

I have this helmet. It's DOT approved and is very ultra-slim. I no longer have mushroom head. I'm told it much better looking than my old half helmet. And inexpensive
