I thought the stock seat was comfortable. Until I took a 200 mi ride. After about 100. My lower back was starting to ache. If you could put a back rest on it, I probably wouldn't have got a new seat. So I bought a mustang 3 piece. You could make it a 2 seater or a solo. But, like StrykenShane said, it pushes you forward and up. My back loved it. My butt started to hurt after 75miles. I've heard there can be a bit of a break in period. I put about a bit over 200mi on it. NO change. Plus changing the riding position. I brought it back. I didn't want to spend $600 to then go customize it to fit better. I went with a Parts unlimited solo seat. I've put around 300 miles on it. Back feels good, butt feels good. Parts unlimited does have a 2 seater. If this one didn't work I was going to try corbin. But, I'm happy. I'm going to stick with it and am thinking about getting the stock seat customized to how I'd want it. Not a lot of people have Parts unlimited seats from what I've seen/read on this forum. Most people say either corbin or mustang. Everyone's different. But, I'm not a fan of the mustang. That's my 2 cents.
