Hey guys, I'm leaving out the 13th for my cross-country ride to Vegas. I already have a gel pad in my mustang seat and it's been re-worked to my specs but I'm still thinking for this ride I should invest in a seat pad if anything just to shakeup the riding position. Any suggestions?

thanks beko, do you have experience with this pad? I have read nothing but positive reviews on it. I don't even know if I'll need it but it'll be nice to be able to shakeup the seating position every so often when we'll be doing 500 mile days

What Bekohiko Said, Wife uses the Airhawk2 for the passenger seat and loves it. If I ever go on real long ride like that, I will get one also.

Not yet, but like you said I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll be buying one before my week long (~1300 mile) trip the first week of july.

Cli-max has it cheaper it is the best thing in the market currently to prevent pressure sores for patients on wheelchairs. I ordered the airhawk R which is the revised version of the airhawk medium. This one has improved pressure distribution... the good thing about the airhawk is that you can use it anywhere not just on your bike. I bought it to use it also on my car, and it will also work for people that sit on a desk the whole day...

I did an explanation on the airhawk cushion on another post... check this out
