I know i am just being lazy by asking this but has anyone adjusted thier shifter lever? I need to raise it up about a quarter inch to let me boot slide under it easier and I am not sure how to do it. Anyone care to enlighten me?

loosen front and rear locknut at linkage ends and adjust by turning shaft till pedal is to your liking and then tighten both locknuts. One side is right hand thread and other is left hand thread.

1/4" is a lot. Might have to move it on the spline. Just make sure you have enough thread left on rod if you adjust by threading.

well i adjusted it about a quarter, never even checked to see how much rod was left and tightened it back up. I guess I will know there is a problem if it falls apart while i am riding. How much of the rod would you say there is hiding in the end cap or whatever that thinga magiggy is called.

it's at least a good inch, I had to do this with the 3" PCS extension setup with the Kury swingwings, I only have about 1/2" left on each end so I carry an extra couple of nuts (no pun intended) just in case it comes apart, I find myself worrying about it and I check to make sure the nuts are tight every time before I ride, I really should just get some different pegs but dam I love to throw my heels up on the swingwings

I did this adjustment, now my shifter isnt changing gears at all. Only two clicks, not multiple gears. Did I pull something loose when adjusting? How do I fix??
