So I picked up my bike yesterday from the shop, they installed my V&H 2/2 Big radius for me. I'm riding around thrilled as can be, I stop by a buddies house so he can check em out. He is thrilled as I'am when he notices something. On the right side controls where the spacers go to make room for the larger exhaust there are 2 stacks of about 20 washers in place of the spacers that should have came with the exhaust. What the ****.... I didint wait 6 weeks and pay good money to have my sh*% ghetto rigged. I'm calling the service department today to inquire about it, unfortunately I have to wait about a week to show up there in person as I'm heading out of town today. I'm really curious as to why they did it like that.....

I do wish they would have explained something like that to me, I want to assume the box was just missing the pieces. If anything, Ill hunt for some myself or see if my shop can get some sent in from V&H. It really is an eyesore now that I know its there. =/ I'll take a picture when I get back in town next week.

Idk it's messed up they just used washers but it probably something they had on hand and didn't have the time to try to find a spacer that would work. I'd call V&H to ask about the spacers, the dealer did their part not correctly but they did get the pipes on..... QC of V&H is V&H fault not the shops.... There was a post about a shop scratching up rims replacing the tire... I watched my shop do the tire and the problems he had getting the factory tire off both of us were really suprised that my rim didn't get messed up. Some shops are a$$holes but then others try hard but when you have crap or missing parts to work with, mess ups have to be accepted, not liked but accepted

I installed the same pipes on my bike yesterday. Got all the way through the process and discovered that I did not have the required spacers. I went to my local bike shop and they comp'd me a set of spacers so it all worked out in the end. I contacted V & H and they require the order invoice to send the spacers. Seems like maybe whoever is packing these pipes out is forgetting a crucial step. The stacking of washers seems a bit ghetto to me but that's my opinion. My local shop had a box of random spacers that I just went through and matched up to get a working set.
