Does the Stryker kickstand bother anyone else other than me? It leans the bike so far over. Why so far over?

It leans so far that if you ever forget to put your kickstand down, the bike will be too far over to recover I think - because you are so used to letting it lean so darned far over. Does that make sense? I don't know how else to explain it.

I guess I will get used to it, but I wonder why they made the kickstand so damned short?

I've got to agree with you. Plus it automatically causes the front wheel to turn in. I park my Raider with the front wheel forward, but it's hard to do with the Stryker.

Have you all seen the Large Dealer Poster of the Stryker? It has a 1" spacer under kickstand for all poses!

i lowered mine 2 inches and it made a big difference. before when i would stop and go to get off people would try and grab my bike thinking it was going to fall over.........

It looks like Yamaha thought it was low for their marketing photos on their site. If
you look at the picture in the warehouse of the Ravem it looks like they modified the kickstand,
and in another photo it looks like it's propped up by gravel.
