So... trying to make up my mind. What do you guys think about shortening the rear fender? Here's a quick photoshop (very quick/rough) of my idea... Kind of like a Harley look, but all stryker.

Thoughts/ideas? It's getting painted this week anyway, so if I'm gonna do this I might as well do it now! Just not sure I'm sold on it.

I like it a lot, but I also think that you may want to change the blinkers to a
1" dia or less bullet type....

Looks good, but I'm guessing the first hard bump in the road- the rear tire is going to eliminate the taillamp. A few of us have been that route already.

Also toyed with the idea of cutting it to a v-point, but ended up leaving it... Fender sits too far away from the tire with no load and too close loaded. Also the guy already finished prep work and is painting.

I saw one like this today. the guy had an 2" LED strip under the fender. He also had a side mount license plate with the actual brake lite and 2 ~1" bullet blinker lites.

I kind of like a little bit of curve to the back end fender. It looks nice, but not for me.

As 11Stryker stated, That light will not work mounted that far forward.
One bump and your tail light will be ripped off by the tire.
You would have to go to a L&M type LED strip light OR mount a light on top of the fender.
