I was saying ouch a lot as I was waiting on the shoulder of I-10. The mosquitos ganged up on me and tried to carry me away.

The tire has about 4000 miles on it. The rim is what really concerns me. I'll find out tomorrow what the damages are.

There are some good people in the world. Plenty of passer bys stopped to see if I was alright. Glad the tire didn't blow out.

Just an unpleasant update for y'all. My rim still hasn't shipped. Bike shop says it is back ordered until 18 September and there is no way of knowing if it will ship until that date arrives. The other rim that Star sells for our bike is out of stock as well. Anyone have any other options for me? If it doesn't ship on the 18th I'm back at square one.

Check Raider Forum for anyone selling a rear wheel. Same as Stryker.

Southern hospitality! No one stops up here, I'm amazed when they even bother to move over a little. Sorry about your ride, I had some troubles of my own with mine on Monday so I feel your pain.

A little off topic, but still kind of on topic. For anyone who ever removes either triple tree, USE LOCTITE!!! I was on my way home the other day from work and just happened to look at the right side of my upper triple tree and noticed that the bolts seemed to be sticking further out than usual. So I took a look at the left to compare and found out that they were completely missing. All 4 bolts had vibrated loose and the right 2 were only held in my 1 or 2 threads. I was very lucky that nothing happened and I was able to get the bike home safely. Things could have been a LOT worse.

If you are interested, I have a rear wheel looking for a new home, PM me if your interested. It is the silver one, and was used for only 6 weeks when I first got the bike while waiting for the PM wheels to come in.
If it were black I'd be all over it. Thanks for the offer. If I get real desperate powder coating may be an option.
