Been searching posts for anyone who mounted the plate to the left passenger foot pegs, came up empty.

Looking at two plates specifically one is made for the warrior/raider and the other is for a Rocker C. Would prefer the one for the Raider/Warrior but not sure it will work, waiting on an email from seller. The Rocker C looks to be just about universal but i prefer the one with the light built on.

Raider/Warrior:

Rocker C:

Has anyone mounted their plate to the pegs ? My state requires the plate to be 12" off the ground so this would be the ideal mounting spot. With the rocker plate i could run the license plate frame light and be good.

I just need one that i know will mount to my foot pegs, the HD should work....even if i have to drill out the hole more or use washers. But i would like it to mount to both bolts so it has no chance to rotate one way or another, however i don't know if the guys light on the one made for the warrior wires up or just has batteries......the listing says it will work off the plate.

I'm just seeing that options are out their won't be ordering til week after next, along with a seat >>> Has anyone heard anything about the parts unlimited low profile seat?? Saw a member who was going to post a review but hasn't yet.

I think your alright if its on the axle bolt. I think if you mount it to the foot peg bracket your going to be pulled over. I think that would put it high enough that the turn signal would obscure the view of the plate for someone riding behind you. But then I could be wrong.

will be changing my turn signals to mini bullets, also would rather be pulled over and be able to hand him the statute and get off than chance getting a ticket for the plate being too low. If its on the axle and he pulls me over i can't do anything about the ticket.....if I'm ticketed with it on the pegs I can have it dismissed.

§507. Display of plate

A. The permanent registration license plate assigned to a trailer, semitrailer, motorcycle, or other motor vehicle shall be attached to the rear thereof. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the permanent registration license plate assigned to any truck having a gross vehicle weight in excess of six thousand pounds or to any dump truck may be attached to either the front or rear thereof. For the purposes of this Section, dump truck means any truck with a bed that raises to dump a load. The permanent registration license plate shall be so displayed during the current registration year, except as otherwise provided herein.

B. Every permanent registration license plate shall at all times be securely fastened to the vehicle to which it is assigned, so as to prevent the plate from swinging, and at a height not less than twelve inches from the ground, measuring from the bottom of such plate, in a place and position to be clearly visible, and shall be maintained free from foreign materials and in a condition to be clearly legible.

Amended by Acts 1974, No. 171, §1; Acts 1978, No. 134, §1; Acts 1979, No. 110, §1; Acts 2001, No. 424, §1.

According to your own post you would be just as illegal and you still couldn't get out of a ticket. So its a chance either way.

Haven't had any problems with non-dot parts or accessories but did get pulled over for a plate mounted under the fender of one of my sport bikes.

What size axle are we dealing with with a Stryker? There are some really cool mounts from accufast2D on EBay.
Don't know the axle size, just want a plate that i can easily mount a light on and hide the wiring.

You might want to be concerned since each of them talk about the axle size from a mounting perspective. 3/4", 1", 17mm

......both of these mount to the pegs, so has nothing to do with the axle.

I have been following this post, and I was thinking that if you are concerned about the law in your state, then the peg might be too far forward. It says it needs to be on the rear of the vehicle. Not the side. How far back are you thinking of extending it off the foot peg mount?

Not going to extend it, whatever the offset the plate is sold as is what I'll use.

I've looked at the Scootmod and kuryakyn but man 150-200 for a plate is steep, I'm looking at coming in under $100 for the plate and plate light
