Sissy Bar Bags without Luggage Rack

I have the tall yamaha backrest that I only use when the wife rides with. Is there any bags out there that I can mount on the back without a luggage rack or do I need to buy a rack to rest the bag on?

Also any suggest on bags would be great too.

kuryakyn grandtour bag, I used mine on a 5-day ride from Atlanta to Vegas last year with no backrest, worked great
