So I feel that i really need some bags and of course there are not many choices when it comes to our Strykers. I am looking to go with some hard bags and it looks like I only have two choices that will mount up pretty easy since I am using the stock exhaust.

My choices are the Hardstreet Sixers or Slims and I was hoping that I can get some input from members that have them so it can help me make a decision.

For those of you that have the Sixers or Slims, Can you tell me why you chose the ones you did over the others?

I got the sixers - I felt that their size worked the best with the bike, and they don't stick out too far. I've got stock pipes and seat. Although they look like they might interfere with the passenger's legs, my wife says her legs don't touch them at all (the angle the picture was taken at makes it look worse than it really is).

Thanks for the input and pictures guys.

WildFan, how many inches do you have those bags above the pipes. I would think one inch would be enough and you look like you have 2 or 3 inches. Although the angle could be decieving me.

I too have the Sixers. The slims I think would be just a tad too small for what I use them for on my daily commute and weekend trips. I used the alloy tech brackets (no desire to do quick release) and they work / look great. I can also send some pics if you like but didn't have any on this computer. Also note that I went with the high gloss black bags with my copper Stryker and it looks pretty sweet in my opinion. All in all, loving my bags and doubt that you would be disappointed in them.

SSgtBarnes, I would love to see a couple of pics if you have some time to post them up. Especially since I also have a copper styker. Also could use a little infomation on the alloy tech brackets if you dont mind. ;)

I've got them about 2" off the pipes. When I mounted them, I just set a 2x6 on the pipe then but the bag on the 2x6 - that way the lines of the bag and pipe matched up.

I put mine on flat ground back to back and marked the holes on the second to match the first one. I had my son help me cause they aren't a flat surface on the back, but if you take your time you should be able to match them up.

Yea, that makes plenty sense and it is a logical way to do it. Sometimes I am just to lazy to think for myself. lol.....

Here's some pictures dude. Let me know what you want to know about the brackets and I'll do my best to answer them. Bottom line - I love these bags!

I have the sixers on my Stryker as well. Mounted them with Easybrackets for quick removal. I think they follow the lines quite well and as Wildfan says they don't interfere with the passengers comfort.

Sonic you are the man i was looking for somebody who had hard bags with the easy brackets!:nod::nod:

Thanks for all the feedback. I have decided I am going to go with the Hard Street Sixers. Now, I just have to figure out what brackets to get with it and I will be good to go.

Any preferences over the different brackets out there?

I like the Easybrackets on my bike. Unlock the brackets, slip the bag off. Great for cleaning the bike and doing maintenance on the back or just driving around without the bags on. Easy to install as well.
