So I hit some loose gravel and took a fall recently. Fortunately I was ok and the Stryker only got the right brake and foot pedal bent out of shape which I was able to bend back for most part. This got me thinking, if the fall was worse there could be some expensive damage to gas tank and other parts. Has anyone installed frame sliders on their Stryker and know where to order them? Like the ones that sport bikes have. I just don't want to get some giant rails on the sides and ruin the clean stock look of the bike.

yeah, i don't have any idea where you could even mount sliders. My son had them on his Busa and when it hit pavement they snapped off anyways. Thank good ness he walked away but it gave him a good scare. He's looking at a Stryker now, maybe the raider

I was browsing yamaha's accessories and they do have rails for stryker to protect the engine which don't look ugly and actually go well with the bike. Not cheap but may be good investment. Just wondering if they'll protect the rear brake and foot pedals as well since that's the only thing that got bent when I laid it down.

Theres nothing wrong with him planning for the worst case senario. Like they say there are two types of riders. The ones that have layed one down and the ones that will lay one down. Oh and you have the ones that brag about never dropping a bike after riding for fourty years. Those are ussually the one who get killed the first time things go bad.
