No tuner needed at all as far as I am concerned. Others say if you just add pipes, no tuner. Then add airbox, then yes.
Slip-On
I'm only adding the slip-on at this time since this bike is literally twice the motor of what I was riding (V-Star Custom 650). Do I need to add a tuner or will it work fine? Not really looking for performance at this time just want more sound until I get used to the bigger bike.

Try this..............makes sound a little deeper and calms the backfire.I'm getting a ton of popping and some backfires on decel. I think the popping is cool, but sometimes the backfires do startle me haha.
