I bought a Stealth for my last cycle and hated it - hung it up in the shed and forgot about it. It created an awful amount of buffering, and I just never like the way it looked on my Vstar. Having just bought a Stryker, and not wanting to pay the big bucks for a new shield at the moment, I dug it out, cleaned it up and installed - perfect fit, surprisingly, and it seems to do a good job at keeping the wind off my chest, arms and hands - while at the same time allowing wind in my face with NO buffering. It feels like I'm not riding with a shield at all on my face, in fact. Perfect for my needs - and I think it flows well with the lines of the bike. I dunno, maybe I need a second opinion. What do you think? ( Yes, I am aware that I need to peel off those **** stickers on the shield!)

Looking around, it is a "universal" shield for many types - just be sure and get the clamps that fit yamaha bars. ( 1 inch bars, I believe) Here's the shield -

and here's one on ebay a bit cheaper ( it states that it's for a stryker, but it's likely what I have - a universal fit.)

It was easy to install, no mods. It comes with clamps for the forks and handlebars, so it's a tight install - when it's on, it's solid. seems to be fairly heavy duty as well, and is thick and sturdy. They also make a clear version as well. The stickers peel right off, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I like it better everytime I take a look. Maybe could you give us a few more angle pics with it on the bike. Thanks again!

no, not at all. see how the middle of the shield fills out? that's where the key is, so there's no issue at all with inserting the key. NOW if someone could tell me how to mount a bar bag that wouldn't be in the way of the key, I would appreciate it!
