One of the small local bike shops is putting on a bike show in October to raise money or the local humane society. I plan on entering my bike. Right now mod wise for the exterior is cobra chrome pipes, my $0.99 wheel trim, detachable tall backrest, blue LED under body lights, and a small fork bag to hold my registration, glasses and extra crap. By the time of the show I will have added PCS links and either the $57 bak or the xxx bak kit. With all of that should I leave the back rest and tool bag on or pop it off for show time? The area I live in is big on HD so i should bring something home in the metric class. I haven't seen any tricked out metric cruisers much less any other Strykers, Raiders, Honda furys or any other metric line running around that looks as good as mine, even with the basic mods.

I'd remove the backrest and tool bag. The PCS links will have it looking nice...to compliment the lowered stance i'd get rid of the duck bill and go with the CustomLED integrated brake light like I've done.

Yeah I plan on cleaning that up as well, may not get led tail lights but the tag will get relocated and be able to see more rear meat. Lol

I would take the backrest and tool bag off. Either way you should have it in the bag ( a trophy that is) either way with a awesome bike like that.
