Just go ahead and do it. Easy. Hairdryer and finger nails, or just leave it in the sun for a couple of hours.

I was able to get the clear plastic part off, but it left the sticky residue behind. Looks worse than it did before.

Goo gone or lighter fluid will take to the residue off .

Good to known, found some goo gone in the cabinet under the sink. Will give it a shot later
