I decided to make the jump into the full bagger world. Went with a 2013 Victory Cross Country. Over the past few years I found myself going on longer and longer trips as well as having my wife on the back. Although I absolutely loved my Stryker it just didn't fit my primary riding needs anymore.

I can't thank this group enough for all the help over the past couple years as well as the countless hours of reading. Stay safe!

Congrats on your new bike mn stryker. I believe i will find myself going a similar direction in the next couple of years. Looking to ride the Stryker a few more seasons first. That XC's paint is sweet. Enjoy...

Congrats! Beautiful bike! Exactly the bike I would go with when I'm ready for a bagger. I sat on one in the showroom this past weekend and was very surprised how light and balanced it felt compared to other baggers.

Thanks! The bike drives MUCH lighter than the 825 dry weight. On the twisties it feels more nimble than when I was on the Stryker. Gonna miss my old bike though....

Rode it at the demo a couple of weeks ago and like you said she really handles. I had some buffeting though at speeds above 60-70 which would have had to be addressed.
Stryker for me for now but Victory does make a nice machine.
