well according to my mechanic...no, it won't hurt my bike. But will find out from other mechanics as well. Right now, I decided to nickname my bike spitfire, lol.

Sweet lol and just think you saved yourself some money, you didn't have to but the flame thrower kit that is made for cars......

I would assume its just raw fuel from when he cuts off the throttle that is ignited by the hot exhaust and exhaust valve opening up..... It's the backfire you hear but with baffles in the pipes it keeps the flame inside the pipe instead of exiting out the back.....that would be my guess

Hi. I believe the flames are caused by unburned fuel/fuel vapors coming into contact with the hot pipes. I am a lady rider, btw....... wait... that came out wrong.... lmao.

I am a lady rider too... As often as possible.. lol.. I am a Stryker rider also. Both are fun. Lol

Thanks guys!! . This bike is the first one I am making changes to, and learning how to work on it on my own... or at least for the most part. My old bikes, well, I just left them stock. Lol.
