Need a little help here. I'm looking to add power and speed to the bike and wondering about plugs and wires. Any plugs that are better then stock to give a better spark and maybe wires that would improve anything of the sorts. And I have no idea on any of this but Harleys have the plug wire relocation kits and I kind of like that look and wondering if there was anything like that for the stryker.

Welcome Red. Take a look at the ECU flash thread. Best bang for your buck. I have not read anything here about performance gains from plugs or wires. Try the search function too. Cheers.

Muskie, I've got a Cobra Auto Tune on the bike, if I flash the bike and rehook that thing up what is that going to do? and would I need to dyno the bike then afterwards?

Looked up 1 project for a Harley and I can sort of see why they relocated the coils(you'd have to relocate the horn as well) but not sure why needed on the Stryker as all our stuff is neatly tucked away. If you wanted to call them out a little I guess you could go for colored plug wires...

As for performance gains, I doubt it. Yes, you can probably get hotter plugs and the like but don't think there is any real benefit to our engine.

Call Ivan on your tuner situation or read the thread(long but I think some folks have the auto tune and posted) That is the current best bang for the buck and the bike already makes pretty decent power from an 80CI mill...

Ever noticed how there are all kinds of aftermarket parts that genuinely improve performance on HD’s??? Yet there are virtually none for Japanese bikes??? That isn’t necessarily due to a lack of demand in the Japanese aftermarket share….it is due to a lack of need. Outside of helping the Jap motors breathe easier and some EFI tuning…there’s not much bolt on stuff you can do to improve upon the modern engineering of Jap bikes. HD's on the other hand are using 50+ year old technology so it's very easy for the aftermarket to improved upon that platform.

I your bike still stock? I didn't really notice a difference in power with just the exhaust. Then with the Fi2000, I did get a noticeable improvement on the low end. It wasn't till I added the BAK that I got a big improvement out of the bike. Next is the flash. Only because I am trying to get as much out of the Raven as I can.

I will third what skwerlee said.

Also just to put in a plug for the ECU Flash, on Ivan's site he has the various charts from dyno runs done with the bike. A stock Stryker, according to a review from cycleworld, puts out max power of 67.2 hp and max torque of 73.8 ft-lb. According to Ivan's dyno chart, a Stryker with a flashed ECU, PowerCommander V, corbra duals exhaust and a free flowing intake gives a max power of 85.8 hp and max torque of 90.2 ft-lbs.
