I'm currently working on installing Nyjol's faceplacte with the LED wiring. The instructions say to hookup a posi-tap to a "black/dark green" wire. I see a black wire and a dark green wire. So which wire is it supposed to be connected to?

Thanks.

I spoke with Nyjol and he said his was a black wire with dark green hashes. Here is a picture of my wiring. I couldn't see any markings on the black wire.

Commom sense told me the black wire was the ground so that was my first choice....and it was the right choice. Both bikes had the same wiring. The first bike took me about 1:45 minutes to do the faceplate and LED wiring, the second took 45 minutes. Learning curve helped a lot. Nyjols directions were very good. Other than the wire confusion it went very smooth.

Thanks for the wiring help!

DECO is short for decompression. Basically when scuba diving the deeper you go, the shorter amount of time you can stay at depth and be able to come straight up to the surface. After that point, it's considered a decompression dive. This is a planned dive and you have to go to various depths for different amount of time in order for your blood to come back to normal. The best example is to shake a soda bottle. All is fine until you take the cap off. If you take the cap off very slowly, the gas escapes slowly and you're fine. However untwist the cap quickly and it foams all over the place. This is exactly what happens to your blood at depth. Come up to quickly and you get the bends, which could be fatal.

For normal sport diving, the recreational limit is 130'...hence why I put the DECO in leu of 130mph. If you can't tell I'm a avid scuba diver.

Its a great sport but not for everyone. But in the Carribean you have 70' visibility. Now in the quarries and rivers....well that's a different story. I once had to dive in a river in Pittsburgh for work, and only 10' below the surface on a bright summer day, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. That was a little unnerving. And I had to spend three days in the water.

I have some underwater photos on my Gallery if you would like to see what your missing!

I have a few more dive trips to put up but I kind-of been side tracked with the Strykers. Too many hobbies....too little time to enjoy them all!
