speedo inaccuracy

Reading different posts I have seen a few of you mention the inaccurate sppedometer on the Stryker. Can anyone explain further as to how off it is, why it is off, and if there is a good fix if the problem is real. The only time I want to be pulled over for speeding is when I actual am speeding. Thanks guys.

Stock stryker- speedo say 55, really only going 51. Quick fix- put 240 tire on when stock rear tire wears out. With stock stryker in 55 mph zone- if you stay below 60 on meter you won't be speeding.

wow this is the first I've heard of this! so all i need to do is switch to the 240 when my OEM one goes **** up and i'll be much more accurate than stock?
Yep Yep Yep!!
DennisKirk.com was by far the least inexpensive at the time I bought mine.
Mines a 250 Avon with 8" PM Wheel which replaced my 240 Avon with stock wheel.
