The wife was following me home one night and asked why I was driving so slow. I said I was going the speed limit and she said I was 5-10 below. So I'm actually going 60 when it shows 70 on my speedo. Anyone else run into this?
Upgrade to a 240 rear tire & your speedo will be very close. None of my other bikes are off as must as the Stryker was stock. My Ninja 636, Ninja 650 & FZ1 are the most accurate.Strykerman said:The wife was following me home one night and asked why I was driving so slow. That's normal, upgrade to a 240 rear tire & your speedo will be very close & you won't scrap your pegs as easily + it looks awesome. My tires are stock & when Speedo... shows 70 mph it's actually 65 & @ 75 it's actually 70 @ least comparing it side by side w/my wife's 2012 car.
Seriously your ninja 650 was close? , mine was off by 10. My stryker is off by 5 max according to my wifes carUpgrade to a 240 rear tire & your speedo will be very close. None of my other bikes are off as must as the Stryker was stock. My Ninja 636, Ninja 650 & FZ1 are the most accurate.
