I have been spending a lot of time on this forum reading through old threads and looking at the amazing modifications that have been done to this machine. Today, while reading through an old thread about the forward controls (I am ordering them now) I read about someone having issues finding Nuetral at a slow roll. I too have had an issue with this and Chalked it up to the transmission of the bike. Found out that if you simply adjust your clutch cable it will resolve the issue. I have done so and am very happy!

I cannot find N from 1st. I can get it once every 99 attempts. I can only do it from 2nd to be most efficient. It drives freakin nutz. Wonder if your adjustment will help?

I read somewhere that this might be due to low level of oil, no personal experience though

Proper clutch adjustment seems to be a big thing with these bikes..(or at least i should say "my bike"). I find that if its finely tuned to specs it makes a world of difference with the neutral grab,shuttering and sometimes the oil grade helps

Wow this is a first I have heard about this. I haven't had this problem and it does sound frustrating.. glad you have figured it out. Thanks for brining this up, now I know how to fix it, if it starts happening.

Is the adjustment in the manual? Or in a separate service book of some sort?
