Yo Fujums and whoever out their knows what im talking about.... I bought the Spike Air Kit off of Fujimus and was told that a part was broken but somewhat fixed. So i bought the thing anyways cuz its soo baddass!!! My question is why was the little hump removed or sanded off from the piece?? I was fortunate enough to get a replacement part from Cycle Vision Here in S.D. and im planning on having the whole part (SPIKE Intake) Powder coated Black with silver flakes to match up the bike better for a good price and i wanted to know before i do that, if its necessary to grind out that hump off of my replacement part???

I have no idea if there was any kind of bump on the ring previously or if there should have been. I used it just the way it looks now (round) and would guess that the bump has to do with some other specific bike application. As far as I could tell, the ring just gave the intake more of a solid material to bolt onto as opposed to the fiberglass of the adapter.
