Alright, the 2013 R1 build is up and running and we've got a few videos to start with! First up is an overview of removing the factory plastics. There's a few tips and tricks included in the video and it gives a good basic insight as to how these newer bikes are put together. Plus, who doesn't like to see a brand new bike stripped down and ready for race prep?
The second is probably one of my favorite install videos so far. Here, Brian installs a fresh set of Armour Bodies bodywork. This one shows fitment of the actual bodywork and also includes tips on installing quarter turn fasteners, both clip style and rivet style. The awesome part of this video is that it shows how well the Armor Bodies stuff is made. If anyone here has struggled for hours over another brand's bodywork trying to get gaps to line up you'll really appreciate it. 25 minutes long with minimal cuts, this video is a bit lengthy but gives you a no BS look at what you get when you buy quality bodywork.
Something to note, you'll want to spend much more time checking and double checking your mounting points when installing your own bodywork. Personally, I spend twice the amount of time when doing my own installs. Luckily, Brian ended up fitting this dead on the first time. The goal was to end up with one single video overviewing the entire process. So again, plan on taking your time when installing a whole set of bodywork.
