Not a fan of the 90degree cone intakes, and I think the Kuryakn is hideous.

The LA Big Air is about $210

THe SSCC "Hardtimes" air kit is $170

Seem as if they are basically both similar. ANyone have any info on the SSCC?? I was reading an old post about it, and clicking on links, but with old links, it just takes you back to a main forum page from the old server, so it is not much help...

I read someone had the Big Air last week and loved it, and I like that look setup of it (the round and exposed) So I am not sure what way to go now purchase wise

Hard to tell from the LA website as they have a different picture but make sure whoever you go with has a machined aluminum mounting plate etc.
I got the Alley Cat from SSCC and am very pleased. Nice quality and all I had to reuse were the gaskets from the stock backer plate.

I have the la choppers intake, nice machined and anodized mounting plate and front plate that retains the filter. The cover on mine is chrome and very nicely made. Honestly i was unsure of it when looking at the pictures, but i am more than happy with the quality.

I was sold on the LAA but for $40 cheaper and basically the same product, I am tempted to go with the SSCC

SSCC has the LAC xxx for $195. If you have any questions about any of their stuff Shane can provide the answers you need.

I highly recommend SSCC for any performance mods. They always have some of the lowest prices and unbeatable customer service.

Has anyone tried the SSCC Original? It would seem the teardrop shape extending back would give a more comfortable surface to rest my leg against.

I read somewhere that 90 degree air horns pointed forward cause an uneven air flow from front to rear cylinder?
