looking for potentials problems. here is what happened:
was riding around 60mph. suddenly bike started to stutter (like it would run out of gas, but tank was full), and completely stopped.
battery ok, cranks without issues but does not ignite. got it hauled to my mechanic. once it got there....it started again ;(
i am concerned that 'we did not found anything', and i'm stuck with this.
it has a FI2000 module, could this be bad potentially?
what are the parts which could cause such behavior? could this be electrical/wiring?
I appreciate any suggestions

If this is a new problem and everything ran perfectly previously-I would disconnect the module, and ride it for a few days, so many have had issues with that fuel programmer. It sounds like the programmer may have a hiccup. If you rode in a downpour, I would remove all programmer connection check for moisture and reattached making sure all plugs are fully seated.

problem solved. apparently the shop forgot to open the fuel line petcock or something after doing work. lesson learned; always carry road side assistance (which I had) and plenty of water when it takes them 3h to arrive in heat.
