Well, since it was free I decided I should at least give it a try. I found out that I had a local chapter and they had an upcoming ride. I joined up with them last Saturday and had a really great time. We rode from Escondido, CA out to Salton City, about 100 mi. I had never ridden with a group before. It was pretty cool. We had about 20 people riding. Once we got out there we had lunch and then rode some ATVs through the desert. The event was sponsored by a local shop, North County Yamaha. We then rode the 100 mi back. It pretty much took all day, it was almost dark by the time I got home. It was a pretty great way to spend a Saturday. I'd recommend it if anyone is looking for people to ride with.

The one thing I learned from riding 200 mi in one day is that the stock seat is not comfortable for me. On the way back my ass was killing me, my legs were starting to go numb. I almost had to pull over but I sacked it out since I was in a group. I was thinking that the next thing I wanted to change on my bike was the exhaust, but now I am looking to get a new seat. I would love to see pictures or hear reviews from anyone that has changed the seat.

Very cool Bro!! I have only ridden in groups that large a handful of times, and it was always a blast! I don't know why Yammi can't build a comfortable seat, perhaps to get you to buy the Star seat they make for most V-twins. I got a Corbin Seat and really like it.
