Just got something in the mail about a FREE star touring membership. Anyone know anything about it or has anyone on here joined? Just wondering!

Yes. It's a riding group so if you are looking for some people to ride with you might be interested. You should probably check out the website, http://www.startouring.org/.

I got the card in the mail too. I called them up and they gave me a free one year membership which allows you to log in to the website. You can see what kind of events they do.

You should see if there is a chapter near you. My local chapter does a group ride every month. We meet at a local Yamaha dealership at 9am, have some free coffee and doughnuts, then go on a long ride. It's 100 mi or longer, usually don't get home until 5pm. It's pretty fun. We usually have 20-30 bikes.

I like it, planning to go again this Saturday.

The website shows charters in Sarnia, Ontario - Chapter 5105, Temiskaming - Chapter 5106, Okanagan, BC - Chapter 5108, British Columbia - Chapter 5103, North Bay, Ontario - Chapter 5110, New Brunswick - Chapter 5104, and Foothills, Alberta - Chapter 5111.

Yeah, be sure to mention that to your dealer. Star Touring had a huge ad for it on their home page for a while and since they were paying for my first years membership, it was a no brainer!

Yup but has to be genuine Yamaha accessories. The promotion went on for about 3 months.
