Well the Ski-Doo is getting a break this week and I have started to look at what I would like to do to the bike for this upcoming season. Just some minor mods right now but hopefully more to come:

Painted the cheap ass plastic "chrome"

If I had kids this is what the mobile above the crib would look like! haha

Decided to do a little something different with the tank trim. I think I'm gonna put it back on like this

Here's what it would look like on the bike (just laid there along with the speedo face)

Also, I had an extra set of H4 HID's in the garage from a big order before christmas. Starting looking at putting them (one) on the Stryker. Well I wired everything up temporarily and fired up the bike.....viola...let there be light. I have the wiring harness all tucked away out of sight and just have to finish with the bulb wires and ignitor after the headlight gets reinstalled.

How is the tank trim attached? I can't seem to find a way to get mine off...

nice looking paintjob, btw.

I didn't use fishing line just a heat gun to warm the adhesive and then carefully pull up starting from the side closet to the seat. The trim pulled off and left the tape on the tank. Then I just started in a corner removed the tape in one piece. Left no residue.....I got REALLY lucky! haha

So I have the parts back on the bike and the HID installed. Very pleased with how it came out. Only part of the HID's that are visible is the ignitor but I think it blends in well

You can see the ignitor just behind the headlight (the black rectangle box)

Gonna try a headlight shade and if I don't like the look I'll order a new headlight. Also looking at either the Cobra Swepts or slip on. Oh and a new seat and saddlebags.....new mirrors....and maybe a fairing...**** this bike is gonna break me before I can ride it again.

It will accent the front fork and keep just a small touch of chrome going from all the bolts and the fork spikes. http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/1460/Scythe-Mirror im personally going to get the Scythe mirrors once my insurance check for my totalled car comes in. I love the idea of using money from the car to pay for mods to the bike.

Yeah its just to have a little to tie into the other little parts of chrome on the bike. I didn't like it painted full black (I could tell with the masking tape still applied. I'm happy with how it turned out.
