Well I have been pondering the thought of upgrading my brake lines. I found this site and from what it sounds like they are a great product... but like every sales pitch, their product is always the best.... Has anyone heard or used this company before? http://www.spieglerusa.com/brakes/cycle-brake-line-kits.html
Their prices seem reasonable. I also like the fact that I can get the lines, banjo fitting and bolt in black.

Let me know whatcha think or if you have another source.

thanks

HEL performance has any color lines, banjo and bolts you want. I've had mine for over 2 years and the fittings have not corroded one bit. Talk to Jim at MOTO-heaven.com you will not be disappointed at all. Tell him Dawn with the raider sent you, he will cut a deal.

Oh, forgot to mention....if your going to replace the break lines I would recommend refilling with something like RBF 600 or equivalent instead of just regular old cheap break fluid. I am going to go ahead and do this to. It really does give you instant improved breaking performance and it adds to the personality of your bike with all the color choices.

Awesome, thanks for the information! Good luck and keep us posted, I'd love to see how the install goes for you and the ending result! Pics will be great also!

Bumped again...
I should be back from this deployment in about 39 days.... but who counting.. :p.
Has anyone done steel braided brake lines on their Stryker yet? Waiting for reviews and or ordering info such as measurements ( with forward Controls) and the type of banjo bolt needed.

This is something Im looking at doing in the very near future. But Ive kinda run into a snag. Yamaha doesent list the stock lengths of the cables....like anywhere. So Im basically down to stripping the bike and measuring myself. Anyone here already get the dimensions? (Totally not looking forward to a day of un and re building my stryker. =P)

Sorry Rage! I've been slacking on this one. It's a pita to do by yourself and was holding off because I want to put LEDs under the front fender and run the wires inside some black braiding that goes over the brake line. The LEDs have been slow going (building them myself). I'm just going to look for some cable tidy that you can put on after they're mounted. Most of them don't look nice though.

No worries bro! I have a couple of other things that I am thinking about adding to the bike so the lines from http://www.spieglerusa.com/brakes/cycle-brake-line-kits.html.. are on the back burner.

I just installed the same brake lines the rear is perfect but the front fitting by the master is backwards. I called and there sending me a new one but for the meantime i had to twist it by the triple clamp. I have had spielger before and there great. You noticed on hot days and long rides your brakes stay firm
