Aside from the tool kit located under the seat, did anyone recieve a second kit? I only ask because on page 4-14 in the manual it makes it sound like a second kit should have been provided in addition to the one under the seat. (under the section about shock adjustment)

the raiders came with 2 kits.....one had the spanner tool for adjusting
the tension on the rear spring.

should be the shock pre-load wrench/handle and a cheesy socket for ? I received mine with the owners manual , the other main tool kit is under the seat . Got this stuff but won't pick up my bike till my birthday in a week ,am starting to to get a bit anxious .

Sometimes you have to ask for the tool kit that came with the owners manual. A lot of dealers have their service rep go over some things before you ride off. This is the time i got my spanner wrench to adjust the shock with.

Yeah, when I was doing the walk through they handed me a tool kit. I thought that I would have to put it under the seat myself. When I got home I took the seat off and saw there was already a tool kit. I thought they had screwed up and accidentally given me two. It wasn't until a few weeks later, when I was looking for a place to stash my registration and insurance card, that I actually opened the tool kits up and noticed that they each contained a different set of tools.
thanks guys. I posed the question here because I am currently waiting for the dealership to step up and get me the second kit. I was pretty sure before asking you guys but they had me second guessing if I was supposed to recieve it or not. Can you guys just list what is supposed to be in the second kit, and I suppose now since I am checking everything they have done, the primary kit as well? Since according to the dealership and their Yamaha rep "they aren't sure about the second kit"

They are jerking you around Bro! Someone in the service dept. probably snagged it so they would have the wrench, when they needed it. It's total bullshit, don't let them get a way with it!!2wheeler said:

The other is just the pieces for the spanner and some socket looking deal.
The one that comes under the seat has a bunch of goodies in it. Wrenches,
and pliers, and screwdriver........I havent really looked at mine in quite
some time.....but it has allen wrenches

No dejablu, sorry I guess I should have specified: I have the one under the seat but NOT the secondary one. I am only interested in a specific list because this back and forth with the dealership has been going on for 2 weeks now and I have gotten nowhere. So I just want to cover all bases and make sure I am in the right before I start getting slightly more irritated about this.
Only 3 pieces in the tool kit.
1. Spanner wrench
2. Spanner wrench handle extension
3. 1 long hex socket.
