any suggestions on how to mount my mirror with a stripped mirror assembly? the hardware isn't stripped but the hole where the mirror attaches has worn threads. any suggestions would be great. thanks for your help. FEELING FRUSTRATED!

The first thing you might try is to re-tap the holes. I think you can rent a tap/die set from an auto parts or home improvement store if you don't have a set laying around.

Hey Female, I can put a timesert in that hole at my shop as long as it is not left hand thread. Or I could meet you at Lanes on Saturday morning and do it there. If you have time this week- let me know and I have the tools here at work. You could ride up to Penn Yan and I will fix it for free. Again- Unless it is the left hand thread!

And just to make it less clear the "left hand" threaded mirror is on the right side of the bike when you are seated. In car terms: The passenger side.
