I got my 2011 copper Styker leftover delivered yesterday. Man Am I pumped. The bike is awesome and looks so much better in the sun as compared to the showroom. I'm taking it slow. It has been about 25 years since I last rode, but I put 50 miles on it since it was delivered. Can't wait to build my confidence and my ability back up so I can just get on and go.

That sun/shade comment is so true. I had already discussed painting mine with a custom shop, before I even saw it in the sun. I thought is was orange and nasty. When I picked it up and it was outside, I didn't even think it was mine because it looked so good.

It's an awesome bike. I love riding mine every chance I get.

Enjoy! I hadn't been on a bike in roughly 25 years when I bought my Stryker and the ride home from the dealership was about 220 miles. Loved every minute of it!

I like the Copper/Red or whatever it is. Only reason I didn't get that color was the other chrome pieces with it. I chose the Raven and my first thought when I saw it in the sun was, "What a shi**y paint job this is". Then I realized it was metalflake. I had enough of the metalflake in the 60s and 70s to last me a lifetime. I finally got rid of the gold metalflake helmet that looked like the one Jack Nicholson wore in Easy Rider. Did I mention that I do not care for metalflake ? :-[

Ya I would much rather have a pearl high light but the metallic blue is working for now. Some day though.

Welcome to Stykerworld. The blue is the same. I parked it in the sun a couple of weeks ago and discovered the metalflakes. It looks great in the sun. Pity we haven't had much of it yet :(

220 miles. I would have been s4!+ing a brick. I just took a rider course over the weekend. That gave a lot of good info about riding that didn't know 25 years ago. I am still thinking about every operation though. Once I get the controls to be second nature again, then I will be able to concentrate on the road and enjoy the ride.

Just the first few miles were stressful. Then it was just like before. :)
