Stryker Flag Pole Mount

I built a flag pole mount for the factory Stryker back rest today. I started riding with the Patriot Guard Riders last year and have been looking for a good way to mount a flag pole ever since. I had a mount on the luggage carrier but it wasn't sturdy enough and I was afraid it would start marking the chrome. It may look like overkill but you would be surprised how strong it really needs to be. This is plenty strong and doesn't interfere with using the luggage rack. I can take it on and off in a few minutes.

Just wondering if anyone has come up with something new? or found something that works well with our backrests / luggage racks?
