I haven't been able to ride a lot of motorcycles. I jumped from a 450 to the Stryker. As everyone else, I'm loving it. Last week a buddy of mine was finally doing his test. He had an expired permit. He's allowed to take the test on it. But, he can't drive it there or home if he passes. So I got the task of riding it down. Nice half hour jaunt on a 650 yamaha silverado. Man was it uncomfortable. Driving that compared to the 450, no biggie. Now with being use to my Stryker, this thing felt like rolling on a Vespa. I felt like I was sitting on top of the bike. Very tight body position. Big front windshield and floorboards to really give that scooter feel. Then, another buddy of mine bought a ninja 250 for his girlfriend and him to learn on. Had a little more get up and go. But, I don't know how people can ride crotch rockets. They look cool, but, I'll take my easy chair riding position. Plus, I was like a fat guy in a little coat riding that bike. I rode nice, but, after a half hour, DONE! Obviously a bigger bike would be more comparable to try. I need more friends with better bikes to try...hee hee.

I know how you feel. My Stryker was my first bike and I love it. I rode my wifes 950 V-Star for about an hour today and my butt fell asleep, and frankly it steers weird. I took a corner and started to lean like I would on the Stryker, and the foot pad scraped so hard I made sparks!

I went on a long cruise with a buddy who owns a Sportster 1200 a few weeks back and we switched bikes for about 50 miles. When I got on his bike and started riding I seriously felt like I was riding on one of those old classic bicycles with the massive front wheel and the tiny little rear wheel. I felt that far up compared to sitting "inside" my Stryker. Even though his was a 1200 it felt nowhere close to the having the power of my Stryker, I guess his is bone stock and I have full exhaust, tuner and intake. All in all I know that if I ever get another bike down the road it is going to hard to find something as fun to ride, comfortable and good looking at the Stryker.

It would be interesting to hear your HD friend's opinion of the Stryker. Was he able to admit the Stryker was better? ;D

Oh yeah, big time. I told him I wouldnt be mad if he bought a Stryker. He just sold his Harley last week because he is going to Europe for the rest of the riding season and says he wants to buy a Victory when he gets back. I will enjoy toasting his @$$ on that once he buys it. Neither of us have windshields on our bike and when going 65 on his it felt like I was going about 100 mph with the way the wind wanted to buck me off compared to riding the stryker.

Had a Shadow 750 for my first cruiser and mutiple sport bikes before and after it, the Stryker is by far the most comfortable bike I've owned. Stretched out just enough to be comfortable without having to reach too far for the pegs or bars.

Recommend the bike to anyone looking for a comfortable cruiser and still have very nice styling.

I have about 1400 miles on mine. I went from the v star 650 to the stryker. My wife just bought a sportster as well. She was hung up on the badge and name. I'll take my stryker anyday. Hers rides like crap. Feels like the front end barely touches the ground. Also at slow speeds the motor shake messes with your turning. STRYKER all the way.

Haha...that reminds me of a few months ago I pulled up to a red light right next to some big "old man style" looking Harley. It had the crash bars, and all those bags and ****. His bike was loud (of course it's a Harley), but that dang motor was shaking so bad it looked like it wanted to jump out of that frame. I was thinking **** I'm glad my motor doesn't run like that!
