Hey I just thought it would be cool to see how many Stryker owners are somewhat local to me and would be interested in getting together for a Stryker Brother/Sisterhood bike ride. Also there is a bike rally coming up in october here near Gainesville Tx if anyone is interested. My Stryker and I will be there if you would like details.

nice man i'd love to meat up and hear those cobras. I've yet to see another stryker out on the road....let alone one with aftermarket exhaust. It's hard to figure out which pipes to order based off of youtube video clips.

Sounds good.... I haven't seen any other Strykers on the road as of yet either, so it'd be really cool to meet up.... seeing as how we're even in the same town. :) I hear ya' on youtube videos being a tough to determine what an exhaust truly sounds like. I did do a clip that came out relatively clear before I installed my intake and fuel programer, but it's still isn't nearly as good as hearing a given exhaust in person....
::)
Maybe we can get get out for a tour sometime soon now that the temps have finally come sub 100 degree. ;)

I live in Oak Point which is right by Denton. I actually saw another Stryker on the road for the first time last week was kind of weird since like you guys said I had never seen one. I just put the VH 2 in 2 Big Radius on my bike last week and it sounds really good. I was pretty happy with the power and I also have the L & M Radiator shroud and intake on it. Have yall had any issues with the bikes yet?

I get a hesitation at a certain speed but Cobra support is on that hopefully they ll get it worked out. Whats yalls work schedule, Im usually off on Sat if given a heads up.

I'm still a bit under 2000 miles on mine, but no issues at all either.... currently running the cobra trio of pipes, intake and fuel programmer. Simply love it and the programmer took care of the hesitation and delayed throttle response I was getting at lower speed ranges .... since I had drilled stock exhaust, the cobra pipes before I had the CVT. I really should've done that one first, but the wimpy sewing machine sound of the stock pipes, even drilled just wasn't doing it for me at all. ::)
Anyway, my Saturdays are usually free as well ..... I'd love to see and hear some other strykers in person other than at the dealership.

Hey skwerlee, where did you buy yours since you're right in the same town? I went to Richardson motorsports and was lucky enough since they had one of each color there, so I left with my Raven that same day.

Skematik...After checking with many of the local dealers I ended up purchasing my Stryker at Stadium Yamaha in Irving. They were fantastic to work with. They offered me the best OTD price that I could find locally at the time and I didn't even have to beat em up to get that deal. Additionally, when I inquired about the first service and general maintenance costs they seemed to be pretty honest with the type of work they do and they charged half of what the other guys were quoting. My salesman *Greg* was great. When I showed up at his dealership I told him that if I purchased the bike I wouldn’t have a way to get it home because my riding arrangements had just fallen through. Greg loaded my bike in the back of his truck after work and personally delivered it to my house once he got off work… free of charge. That was probably an hour roundtrip drive for him.

And yes, most of my Saturday's are free as well!

That was super cool of your sales guy to do for you. Mine stayed after hours until I could get a ride back there to pick it up, and even though I didn't get a great price deal OTD like many on here seemed to have .... I did get several gas fill ups each time I drove by and stopped in to say hi.... lol ::)

Where a bouts in Garland are you? I'm on the north side by the Bush highway/ N. Garland Rd.......

I live in North Richland Hills. I am looking to buy one next week. Lowest OTD price I've seen is 11,700 for the raven. Does anyone know a local yamaha dealer that can beat this price?
Man that price sucks. Call stadium yamaha in Irving and ask for Greg. I paid $10,700 OTD for mine back in June and I know they're going for even lower now due to the riding season winding down. Shoot me a pm if you want me to give Greg a shout for you.
