Got a few mods on now. Time to start keeping track because I think I got the bug!

That is not good, because that is how I started. Bought a new Honda Shadow and a year later traded it for a new Stryker. So be prepared to spend more money on a new bike next year. So do your mods now, because next year is her year. lol 8)

is the batwing quick disconnect? i like how it looks and think it would be great on long trips or when my wife is riding cuz she dont like wind in her face all that much. cud b my lead hand lol. but anyways i wud really be interested if it is q.d.

yeah, pop it on and off in less and 30 seconds, really easy, brackets look kina crappy when off but not horrible

How did you remove the stickers?

Peeled and edge up carefully with a razor blade. Then I poured a bit of rubbing alcohol under the edge and pulled more up, putting more alcohol under the sticker as I went. Made sure to wipe off the alcohol right after I got all the adhesive off.

I can't really recommend them now based on sound alone. Sounds nice on idle and on the throttle, but coming off the throttle is a bit mean and nasty. I'll get a better video up later on the Cobra Tri-Pro thread.

Got the windshield on. Will probably wind up with a 10" at some point because this 5" just puts the wind in my face when I adjust it all the way up and out.

I ended up with the LRS 9" shield and it is perfect.

How did you remove the stickers?

A hair dryer & my fingers made easy work of removing the factory stickers & no mess. I used the hair dry to remove the racing strips off my Challenger SRT8 & only took about 5 minutes.

Hey guys - I got the 10" Stealth shield from longrideshields.com but the holes don't line up? I thought I'd seen at least one other guy with that on the batwing.

I have the 12", no issues lining up, kind of a difficult install but it'll fit

looking really hard at getting a raider if the dealership can get it setup how I like for the right price.

there are over a dozen of us waiting on one... back ordered till mid July.
