I know this seems obvious, but the Sub Fuel tank under the seat is just supplemental to the main tank? The purpose is to increase the overall capacity of fuel? It is not an auxillery tank that is operated by a manual fuel ****. ???

You got it Fuzz! Allows main tank to be a little lower profile. Although another gallon fuel storage would be even better yet. Always have to fuel before and during our normal rides.

YA better mpg or more capacity would be nice because the wife teases me when I point to my tank for a fuel stop and she has a 1/4 tank left in her V Star. Says I have a girls tank

Just an assumption that the Stryker and Raider fuel tanks are basicly set up the same-fuel pump located in sub tank as is the low fuel sensor - there is only a 2/10th gal difference in total fuel capacity for both
