Anybody know of any half helmets that aren't as mushroom head as most of them out there. I knw it's a little inevitable, but i'd like to minimize the rediulousness.

Thats the one I wear as well. Mind you the mushroom is still there, but its greatly diminished. Its a lot smaller than the full on "Toad from Mario Bros" helmets the guys I work with wear.

I don't really call that a half helmet. It's more of a three quarter.

It's not at all shroomy, and Leatherup has several styles in the ultra slim.

that's only because of the ear covers when you take those off it you have have half helmet

I have the Vega as well. Does look better than most. As far as the "mushroom" effect goes.

It's a large. The integrated tinted visor is pretty cool. I'll make you a slam deal on it if you're interested. I bought several other full face helmets and I just feel more comfortable in a full face.

Nope, I checked HJC's sizing chart and that's exactly the size of this lid. Message me if you wanna make me an offer on it

I wear a skullcap "novelty" helmet around town sometimes. Or I did before my brother borrowed it and never gave it back. Not very legal, but I've never heard of anyone being bothered over it.

He did manage to eat pavement in a parking lot with it on and it did protect his noggin. Not that I recommend trying it yourself...

tell ya what, I'll run by ly local yami dealer later today and try it on, i have a few hjc's and i've always had to go xl, i know they have this one in stock in a l & xl, i'll see how it fits in large and if good i'll make you an offer

i made it over to the dealership this morning, the L was just too small, went with the XL in flat black
