I'm in the progress of installing a SuperTrapp stainless steel slip-on. I will give an update as I go along...soooo far so good in bending the adaptor pipe that'll fit the header & slip-on (I found some scrap pipe at a muffler shop that the guy bent and widened to fit the header & slip-on for a Burger King shake)...I will dyno tune it by adding OR subtracting disks...You don't even wanna know how light the SuperTrapp is compared to the chrome boat anchor it's replacing...PEACE RIDE SAFE...

I'm getting a 3/4 deflector disk with a flange (it protects the bike side) & the aluminum end cap) a friend of mine used a SuperTrapp slip-on with his Road Warrior and dialed in the HIGHEST torque figures by adding & subracting disks (increasing OR decreasing the distance between the end cap and the muffler) while his bike was on the dyno...My goal is to keep it simple and do the same thing with the Stryker...I'll keep ya posted

You can slash cut and still use a supertrapp style baffle? A spoon, your moms gonna be pissed if you use her fine china! ;D I guess it's better than getting forked? A tunable system is a great idea it allows for alot of changes with different mods. If you dont go to the dyno it would pay for the supertrapp and you could tune by plug color to get it close? Pics, I wanna see what you got going on?

The SuperTrapp slip-on I ordered (4" Brushed S/C Elite SS Model #443 in the 17" length) and the aluminum end cap & 3/4 deflector have not yet arrived...SOOOooooo I used a SuperTrapp (4" Standard Model #449-2018 in the 18.5" length) with just a plain Jane end cap...I was able to weld the piece of pipe that'll fit the Stryker header pipe at about a 30 degree angle (I have enough pipe left for when S/C Elite arrives). Everything fit...Monterey Bay Power Sports (shameless plug for a great store) put it on their dyno and Terry their head mechanic was able to shorten the distance between the 'end' cap and the muffler to where the HIGHEST (82-83ft#) torque and horsepower (76hp) showed on the screen...He had to compromise between the two with the emphasis on torque. It was a learning process and hopefully it'll work out as well when the (4" Brushed S/C Elite SS Model arrives) I know, I know...Pictures, pictures...P.S. He also works on Ducati as well as Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, and said Ducati has been tuning their V-twins at the factory for years by regulating the 'BACK' pressure...PEACE RIDE SAFE
