Hello, I just got in my swingwing pags and my 8814 adapters. When you all installed your wing pegs did you use the shims? Did you reuse the spring that were in the stock pegs? Are these pegs suppose to fold up like the stock pegs do when going around a corner or tight corner? Just curious because I left the springs out and put one shim on each side. The right side(brake side) folds a little the left side(gear shift) doesnt fold at all. Do i need to fix this by adding the springs, removing the shims.

All do you all have your pegs flat or angles back? Im 511 in height.

Thanks for your help

i didn't use the shims. took me about 30 minutes to figure out that the shims they supply weren't gonna work. use the stock spring and they should fold up just like the stock ones do.

Ok thanks for the help.

Now do you mount them flat or at an angle, I understand that it's a matter of preference but I'm curious on how you mounted yours. I would think at an angle to get the swing peg in a higher position instead.
