Hi everyone, I just bought my Stryker a couple of days ago. I've been riding sport bikes for the last 6 years and decided I wanted something different. So far I love the bike but I only have about 50 miles on it.

welcome i did the same thing I came from a gixxer 1000 that the wife made me get rid of 8 months ago. BUT I just recently convinced her so I can get another one I'm buying a neighbors 2004 gixxer 1000 on monday. So if all goes well I'll have both worlds.

Welcome! :D Yea, I made the switch from sport bike to cruiser a lil over a year ago after I downed my ZX6R. I had to have knee reconstruction to my left knee which the surgery, recovery period and physical therapy took me quite some time to get through.... and which I couldn't bend my leg into that sport bike riding position for many many months, so I just sold that bike after repairing it, and bought my first cruiser which was my V-Star that was bobbed and bored,... snappy lil bike that I enjoyed so much, that when it came time to get something newer and bigger this summer, I opted for the Stryker after searching through the various options. You'll totally love your new Stryker, especially once you get modding to make it "your own".... although like some others, I occasionally wish I did have a sport bike AS WELL just for some days in which I want to up the adrenaline levels a bit more. ;)
